Getting the standard…..

In 1992 one of the leading suppliers to the building and construction industry was looking for a ergonomically designed caulking gun. With plenty of ideas regarding design and technique SORATON was founded in 1992 the development and testing with sample caulking guns.

Thus with great energy and plenty of ideas SORATON rose to the challenge and by 1995 the first series of caulking guns went into production. The ergonomic parallel lever, supported by high performance ball bearings, actuates the patented symmetry drive for optimum power efficiency.

Since then manufacturing to customers specifications additional types of caulking guns have been developed. In the process 60 different cradles and four mechanical gears have been designed for the HANDYMAX caulking gun.

1999 our production facility in Switzerland was extended by a second manufacturing plant in Taiwan. The ECONOMAX produced in Swiss quality was born.

2001 SORATON SA was honoured with the award „Trophée International de la Construction“ for the development of HANDYMAX the professional caulking gun.

In August 2002 SORATON SA became a member of the IVD Industrieverband Dichtstoffe E.V.

2010 SORATON SA was honoured with the platinum technology award „QUALITY & BEST TRADE NAME“ in Geneva, Switzerland.
